Eric Started 33 games at the Guard position for McKendree during his freshman year averaging 30+ minutes a game. During the year he amassed 256 Rebounds and 49 Blocked Shots to lead the bearcats in both stats. During this time Eric averaged 15.2 points per game which 2nd only to Sr. Eric Palm. Eric received NAIA All-American Honorable Mention as well as AMC Freshman of the Year honors. "I think Eric is going to be even better from 3-point range this year. He's worked hard this summer; he's shot a lot of baskets. He's playing well from the perimeter, and of course, he's an excellent pentrator. He gets to the rim and dunks the ball. He's going to score in a lot of ways. " said Coach Statham. High School:
Eric starred at Vandalia High School in Vandalia, IL averaging 23 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists per game as a senior. Eric also led team with 365 total rebounds,
setting a school career record of 1258 rebounds.
